-BUSH was number 9 today on MTV's TRL, the highest they have gotten yet.  Three clue were given in order to figure out the video.  They were:  "glow" "bandana" "blow."  Keep voting!

-The MTV Video Music Awards finally occured on 9-9-99.  Gavin Rossdale presented the award for Best Female Video (won by Lauryn Hill)  with actress Susan Sarandon.  Some BUSHy highlights of the evening: While walking to the podium, "The Chemicals Between Us" was being played; At the podium, Gavin talked about "growing up in the 70's," listening to punk and reggae (rebellious music at the time) and finally meeting Patti Smith;  Robin Goodridge attended the awards as well.  Ok, so what did the guys look like this time?  Robin's hair (with the red highlights) was slicked back and was wearing all back.  Gavin, on the other hand, wore a slicked back 'do as well, but this time, he went for the red look...bright red, as well as wearing a white suit type outfit.  We only wish the guys would have played!!
-BUSH is definitely making a come back as Gavin warned us at Woodstock.  Already, two commercials on MTV have been hinting toward coverage of BUSH and other bands this fall!

-An update on the Tommy Hilfiger fashion show from the New York Times:
"The mind boggles at the contrasts between the show Hilfiger staged on Tuesday night at Madison Square Garden (in the adjacent smaller theater but still the Garden) and the one Adrover put on an hour later downtown. Hilfiger had Bush, the British rock band, on the stage, while the audience sat facing the runway, away from the band. The way the stony-faced crowd ignored the boys in the band -- well, you would have thought they were playing to a retirement home. The musicians got so mad, or at least seemed to, that when the show was over and everyone was going for the exits, the lead guitarist shouted, "Thank you very much," except the "thank" came out as a swear word."

--------
Perhaps Gavin said "F*ck you very much"?
09.15.99:
-Just when you thought you were going to see BUSH again this fall at one of the radio shows they are headlining, the unthinkable happens:  Nigel is not able to play due to a family emergency (Judith, Nigel's wife, is due with a baby soon).  After rehearsing with the rest of the band in NYC, Andy Cohen from Silkworm (who is a friend of Nigel's) will be taking his place for the mini-tour.  More information at Launch.  For tour dates, click here.
09.13.99:
-Bush on the catwalk?  You heard right!  Tomorrow, Bush will be playing at a Tommy Hilfiger fashion show at Madison Square Gardens in New York City.  Unfortunately, this show is not open to the public.  Televised?  Very possible...
