--MESSAGE FROM REENA--

It's hard to believe that now over two years ago I began typing the first issue of the BUBBLES 'zine. I remember it very clearly. It surely was not the best issue, in fact, it was the worst. Slowly, but surely, BUBBLES has blossomed into what it is today, continuously growing. In the words of The Pixies, "I'm amazed." Throughout the years, BUBBLES has become more known, respected, and enjoyable then I could have imagined. Naturally, it took work, but what doesn't? Eagerly searching the world wide web of BUSH for news, facts, info, articles, interviews, plus relying on contributions and no doubt relying on my own mind to put down my knowledge and thoughts on paper. I don't get paid for BUBBLES, nor do I want to. Everything these days involves money yet does not have to. It is actually possible to enjoy something without worrying about if it will pay the bills or not. Money is a necessity in society these days, so I'm not saying you can't live without. It's nice to do something once in a while for yourself and others. I write BUBBLES because I love BUSH and I love to write. You know, hey, why not put them together? Obviously, I am not the only one who has made such a fabulous realization of this concept. The BUSH community is packed with excellent writers, website producers, but best of all, fans in general. Gavin said it himself: "We have the best fans in the world." I'm so honored to have had the opportunity to work with such wicked cool people. BUSH has brought us together with their music. BUSH has given me the opportunity to finally decide what I am going to do for a freaking living (writing) when I get older; God gave me something to do that I like (thank you), yeehaw! Find something you like to do and get paid for it, what a great idea.

Maybe it is about time to wrap this up. Everyone, thanks for reading BUBBLES. Thank you for your many contributions and wonderful comments- they really keep me going. Thank you to all the other 'zinesters out there, especially in the Bush Positive Community. I don't know how long this 'zine is going to be around. Of course, there are days I don't want to think about the 'zine, but in the long run, it's been a very cool.

And of course, my thanks to BUSH. No, you didn't keep me from killing myself. You didn't keep me from doing anything. I have done so much more- I've grown into a new person and learned so much (mostly about music) from you guys. Some may say this is just a [long] phase, but hey, I'm loving it. Without you there would be no BUBBLES, and I probably would not be able to type so fast.
